To minimize the continuous moving of A/V equipment on tall carts in lecture halls and classrooms, it is necessary to have a quick and positive method to restrain and secure equipment to avoid the risk or damage, personal injury and theft.

With the Hi-Tie double strap system, you can quickly and easily secure your equipment sides with a powerful liquid adhesive. This allows the equipment to be leashed to the cart with two heavy-duty constant tension rubber straps. The anchors can serve both to restrain the equipment being moved and to protect it from theft. The Hi-Tie system is superior to bolts and nylon straps because it provides stability without drilling or rendering undo force on the equipment case. And permanent anchor location consistently gives you proper tension.

The Hi-Tie has many uses such as TV monitors, VCRs, projectors, computers and a host of other equipment. Only RIGHTON ® anchors with their powerful close-band adhesive can give you a simple leash-down security system such as Hi-Tie.

The Hi-Tie kit includes two KC1A anchors, adhesive, one pair of selected tie-down straps that come to lengths for varying sizes of equipment such as monitors. In selecting the right length, follow this simple guide. With the lower hook attached to the cart, the top hook should reach two to four inches below the top of the anchor when the strap is not stretched. Also, anchors should be mounted half way or more up the side of the monitor.

The HTS security kit is used together with the HT14 and the HT19 kits only. It prevents theft of the monitor and VCR. The HT5 kit includes a heavy duty anchor for the VCR, and a six-foot cable which is long enough to secure the equipment and the cart itself when in use or in storage. All kits come with adhesive and complete instructions.
